Randy Mullendore
I've spent my entire career at Husch Blackwell. I began as a summer clerk alongside Dave Dyroff and Jim Monafo, who are still with the firm today. After graduation from Wash U in 1991, I began my career as a litigator, back when the firm was known as Husch, Eppenberger, Donohue, Elson, Cornfeld and the firm directory fit on one side of a sheet of legal paper.
Throughout my career at the firm, I've been fortunate to have many mentors, even long before formal mentoring programs existed. In particular, Chris Miller, Carrie Hermeling, Joe Guffey, and Alan Hoffman were instrumental in shaping my skills as an advocate for our clients. Additionally, Dave Dyroff, a law school colleague, has been a steadfast personal and professional confidante throughout the years.
I was fortunate to experience the unique intersection of passion and profession, truly loving what I did. I spent the bulk of my career representing Winchester, which of course resonated with me personally as an avid hunter and shooter. Those cases always presented interesting and challenging legal issues, and often some rather “colorful” fact backgrounds.
My wife Mary and I are relocating to our lake house on Mark Twain Lake, which we've owned for over 20 years. Being on the lake full time will allow me to indulge in a few of my favorite hobbies, such as fishing and hunting. I’ll also continue to work on becoming competent at golf, which I’ve been struggling to do for about 45 years, and guitar, which I’ve only been struggling with since COVID. Mary and I are excited about increased opportunities for international travel. And one thing I’ll certainly appreciate is no longer tracking my days in 6-minute increments!
