New Developments at HB

Dear Husch Blackwell Alumni,

In my first few months as Husch Blackwell’s new Chief Business Development Officer, I’ve been doing a lot of listening. I’ve had conversations with countless attorneys and business professionals, all of whom have confirmed what I already suspected: that our people are the driving force behind what makes Husch Blackwell uncommon. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting many of you at firm events and hearing stories both about your time here and your careers since. It’s clear to me that our broad alumni network of talented attorneys who are passionate about our firm is an extension of that uncommon culture, and one of our greatest strengths.

As such, one of my priorities is to ensure that our Alumni Network delivers real value to you. I want this network to be a resource that supports your professional growth, fosters meaningful connections, and helps you stay engaged with the firm and each other. As I continue to get to know our alumni, I welcome your input and encourage you to reach out to me directly if you have suggestions.

One improvement that is already underway is an evaluation and upgrade of our current technology systems. Consequently, starting in January, our alumni portal—including the directory and job board—will be unavailable while we develop a better digital experience for you. Additionally, we will be temporarily pausing our alumni newsletter in the new year. In the meantime, I encourage you to stay connected through our alumni webpage and LinkedIn group, where you’ll find news, updates, and opportunities to network.

I hope that you enjoy the stories of our firm and our alumni in this last newsletter before those changes take effect. This is an exciting time for Husch Blackwell, marked by increased momentum toward our bold strategic vision for the future.
