It is with sadness that we share the news of Washington, DC office alum Isaac David Benkin. Known as David to all, he left the firm in 2005 after spending a few years with us in the early days of the DC office. Husch Blackwell attorney Richard Bonnifield shared, “I was deeply saddened to learn that Isaac D. Benkin, former ALJ at FERC (for whom I clerked in 1979-80 and before whom I appeared in multiple proceedings) passed away. He was a superb legal scholar and jurist who taught me, and many others, how to effectively litigate cases at FERC. I am eternally grateful for his professional friendship and guidance.”
