Congratulations to HB alumnus Diego Atencio for his new role with the law firm Clean Energy Counsel. He will focus on project development, with an emphasis on the real estate sector, including site acquisition agreements, options, leases, and title and survey review.
Former attorney Josh Devine is now Circuit Judge Josh Devine, Division IV. He presides over Boon and Callaway County cases in Missouri at the circuit court level (criminal and civil). He was appointed in June of 2020, won reelection in November of 2020 and is now serving a 6-year term.
Firm alumnus Gary Gilson collaborated with a team of current HB attorneys – John Moore, Charles Renner, Mara Pollets and Chris Kline – to help a local man, Chris Harris, cross the finish line with his vision for a golf course learning center in Kansas City, Missouri’s urban core. Gary's assistance with fundraising, grant writing and his strong relationships with HB attorneys helped Mr. Harris open the golf course, construct a clubhouse, and restructure the board of directors at Harris Park Midtown Sports & Activity Center.
