The Supreme Court of Missouri celebrated the investiture of Springfield, MO office alum Judge Ginger Gooch in August.

St. Louis office alum Mary Hannah took a new role as Director of Accountability at the Indiana Department of Education.

St. Louis office alum Timothy (Tim) McFarlin is continuing his role at Samford University Cumberland School of Law, now as a tenured full professor.

Kansas City office alum Edwin Smith, Esq. started a new role as Director of Legal Recruiting at Voll Recruiting after several years at David Carrie.

Kansas City office alum Megan Belcher stepped into a new role as Chief Legal Officer at Kohler Co. She was also recently selected as a finalist for the 2024 50 Women to Watch for Boards by 50/50 Women on Boards™.

Springfield, MO office alum Tim Garrison was awarded the prestigious Bronze Star Medal by the United States Marine Corps for his heroic achievements from October 2013 to September 2014.

This summer, Husch Blackwell’s Kansas City office celebrated Ed Matheny’s 101st birthday! Ed was the 10th attorney hired back when the Kansas City office was Caldwell, Downing, Noble & Garrity. View the party pics.

Husch Blackwell alum and Atchison, Kansas native Michael Kuckelman delivered the keynote address for the Maur Hill-Mount Academy Class of 2024. In 1990, Mike started his legal career in litigation at predecessor firm Blackwell Sanders. At the time, Mike was responsible for the firm’s European litigation practice and was based in London from 2000-2007.

Kansas City office alum Donna Wilson received the Lifetime Achievement Award given by President Biden in recognition of her remarkable service to the community. Donna left Husch Blackwell in 2019 and is currently serving the City of Atlanta as Division Chief, Real Estate. View the congratulatory post.

St. Louis office alum Kevin Gunn was appointed to President of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis! He was sworn in officially on Law Day.

On Law Day, St. Louis office alum Tamar Hodges received the Young Lawyers Division Award of Merit from the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. View the list of all awardees.

St. Louis office alum Laura Staley was promoted to Vice President, Employee Support and Labor Relations at Enterprise Mobility. Laura left Husch Blackwell in 2015 to join Enterprise as Labor & Employment Counsel.

Omaha office alum Nicole Theophilus was appointed by Nucor Corporation to the newly created position of Executive Vice President of Talent and Human Resources, effective April 29, 2024. View our LinkedIn post for more info.

Kansas City office alum Aaron Mann was appointed Chief Legal Officer at Terracon, a company where his career has thrived since leaving Husch Blackwell in April 2016. Read the Kansas City Business Journal article (login required).
