St. Louis office alum Susanne Mombelli was appointed to the 2023-2024 Board of Directors for Girls Inc. of Metro Denver. Susanne is currently Senior Corporate Counsel at Leprino Foods.

Springfield, Missouri office alum the Honorable Ginger Gooch was one of three judges nominated to the Missouri Supreme Court.

Congratulations to St. Louis office alum Geoff Gerber who started a new position as History Teacher at Venture Academy in Utah.

Melanie Rheinecker of our St. Louis office started a new role as Vice President of Law – Americas at Tupperware.

Husch Blackwell was thrilled to welcome back Denver-based Partner Erik Dullea after serving one year in the Office of General Counsel for the National Security Agency. He leads our Cybersecurity practice group.

Kansas City-based firm and icon (if we do say so ourselves) Ed Matheny celebrated his 100th birthday with a party in our KC office. Remarkable!

Congratulations to St. Louis office alum Tamar Hodges on receiving the Corporate Counsel Award by the St. Louis Business Journal. Tamar was also recently appointed as Vice Chair of the Board for LIV Recovery Sober Living.

This past May, our Austin office celebrated the long and storied careers of David Hilgers and Tom Watkins, two attorneys who have been instrumental in advancing the legal community in Texas and shaping the careers of many lawyers who had the pleasure to work with them!

Kudos to Kansas City office alum Henry Cox on the release of his third thriller novel, Deceit of the Mind - Quantum Evolution.

Jon Emanuel, Milwaukee office alum, was recognized by the American Lung Association as a winner of their 2023 volunteer award. Way to go, Jon!

Kudos to St. Louis alum Timothy (Tim) McFarlin on authoring his piece “A Copyright Restored” in the Wisconsin Law Review! Tim left HB in 2011 and enjoys his role as Associate Professor at Samford-Cumberland School of Law. He also published an essay, "A More Realistic Bar Exam Will Benefit Legal Education,” as an invited contribution to the Bar Examiner magazine.

Congratulations to St. Louis office alum Jordan Schnitzer on his new role as Assistant GC at Blue Ridge Power! Jordan left HB in 2011 and has been in-house with energy companies ever since.

Houston office alum Arturo Michel was featured in the article “Do More with Less” by The Texas Lawbook. Arturo is serving as City Attorney for the largest city in Texas.
